Where RPA still beats AI — and where it does not
RPA hasn’t gone away. For deterministic, multi-system workflows it’s often still the right answer; here’s how we choose.

When the workflow is brittle but deterministic — open this screen, copy these cells, paste over there — RPA is still the cheapest, most-auditable answer.
When the workflow has judgment calls — does this document match the policy, is this customer eligible — that’s where AI/ML earns its keep, usually with a human reviewer in the loop.
The mistake is using AI for plumbing, or RPA for judgment. Both age badly.
